en disant que Wikipédia n'était pas un dictionnaire. Il me semble que l'étymologie d'une expression est une information encyclopédique. L'article français fait de même.--Staatenloser 12:59, 12 September 2005 (UTC)

(bla bla bla... wikipedia se pa yon diksyone... bla bla bla... etimolojik d yon ekspresyon se yon enfomasyon ansiklopedik. atik franse fe de manm)

:This is not an encyclopedic enformation. It belongs in Wiktionary instead... wikisyone nan lang kreyol ayisyen. This is not French Wikipedia... what happen there is not here.
::Check this out : Astwonomi or Syans, etymology is encyclopedic information. Try to increase the number of articles, or improve them, not just erase work of other.--Staatenloser 01:13, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

:::I *have* improved them, certainly more than you have. Many of the articles here were created by me. I translated the Table of Contents to kreyol in the first place. You, what have you done? You came here, created loads of babel templates, wrote some comments in French, and made a handful of substubs about the week and the month. Why do you write your comments in French? Don't you know kreyol? Sa se wikipedia-a ayisyen. Would it really be that hard to say "atik fransè fe de manm" instead of "l'article français fait de même"?
:::Anyhow, the articles are about the subject which the word refers to, NOT the word itself. The article "lane" is about the year itself, not about the word "lane". If you want information about the word, you should go to Wiktionary, which would tell you "Lane se yon period etc... Etimolojik: vini de fransè annee -> latin annum". But this page is about the year, not about the word.
